Terms of sale

The terms on which we sell the manual and associated files.

Last updated 12 August 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

These terms govern purchases from Sightline Press ("we", "us"). Payment is processed by our appointed payment provider, who acts as merchant of record and issues your receipt and any applicable VAT documentation.

2. What you are buying

A digital product: one PDF manual and two Excel workbooks, delivered by download. No physical goods are shipped. The product specification — page count, chapter count and contents — is published on this site and forms part of the description.

3. Price and tax

The price is $99 in United States dollars. Applicable VAT, GST or sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your billing location and shown before you pay. A compliant receipt is issued automatically to the email address given at checkout.

4. Delivery

Delivery is immediate on successful payment, by on-screen download link and by email. If you have not received your files within one hour, contact support@example.com and we will resend them.

5. Your right to cancel

Digital content supplied immediately would ordinarily end the statutory right to cancel once download begins. We do not rely on that. We offer a full refund within fourteen days of purchase regardless, on request and without justification. See the refund policy.

6. Licence

Purchase grants a licence to use the files, not ownership of the intellectual property in them. The scope of that licence is set out in the licence terms, which form part of these terms of sale.

7. Updates

Buyers receive corrections and revisions to their edition at no additional cost, for as long as that edition is maintained. A separate edition for another jurisdiction is a separate product.

8. Accuracy and professional advice

The manual is a professional reference work. It is not accounting, tax, legal or investment advice, and it does not create a professional relationship between us and you. Accounting treatment depends on facts and judgement specific to your organisation and must be agreed with your own advisers and auditors. You remain responsible for decisions you take.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our total liability arising from the sale is limited to the amount you paid. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or anticipated savings.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If you contract as a consumer resident elsewhere, this does not deprive you of protection under mandatory local law.
